Limerick & District Horse & Pony Owners are a voluntary committee who organise and run this charity horse show in aid of Milford Hospice each year.

The horse show is run annually in Crecora, Co. Limerick on the land of the Carey family. We started out as a small gymkhana and have grown over the past 14 years to one of the biggest and best attended horse shows in the country.

This is mainly due to the show now having the prestige of running a National Grand Prix. A league runs through out the country during the showjumping season and only the larger shows run the league qualifiers for same.

We 18 showjumping classes in one day catering for all levels of competitors. We hold qualifiers for shows such as the Cavan International Horse Show and various other horse/pony league qualifiers. Once again have a very special pony competition with a prize fund of 1000 euro, in memory of Sean Carey. The Sean Carey memorial Cup will be presented to the winner.

We are one of the very few shows, which provide complimentary catering facilities to all our competitors, helpers etc. We provide this as our way of saying thank you for supporting us.

We feel Milford is a most worthy charity as it provides an excellent service to the terminally ill. Each year we donate the proceeds of our show to this worthy charity, to date we have donated €50,000 over the past 16 years.

All our committee and helpers are completely voluntary and the time and work involved is immense.
